Here I can make a difference by using my previous experience to develop the production, grow the business and contribute to a more sustainable future,” says Michael Sköld, who joined the Graphmatech team on 1 November 2022 as as Production and Facility Manager.

Who are you as a person?

I’m a social person who enjoys nature, being outdoors and combining it with various activities. I’m also very interested in sports and new technology. It’s important to me to work with something that matters and creates value.

What is your background?

With a M.Sc in Industrial management and innovation from 2015, I have seven years of experience from production, working as a Project Manager. I have worked in big industrial companies such as Scania and Sandvik, where I’ve managed machine investment projects and industrialization of new products.

What made you join Graphmatech?

Being a person who has the same love for the environment as for new technology, it was an easy choice. Graphmatech is a very exciting company with a vision and a solution for the green transition. Here I can make a difference by using my previous experience to develop the production, grow the business and contribute to a more sustainable future.

What do you want to accomplish at Graphmatech?

My focus will be on creating and implementing a production system that will function as a solid base for the scale up. I will do this by working together with the entire company to take the production to the next level with good functionality and quality.

What do you think will be the greatest challenge?

I think the greatest challenge will be to prioritize, structure and perform the work with good quality going forward, while managing and growing a team in a fast-growing start-up environment.
