Graphmatech makes patented advanced materials including graphene at industrial scale.

The materials have a wide range of applications including defence (stealth, conductivity, strength, and low weight), low-friction materials (replacing harmful PFAS materials), and packaging/storage (better barriers in e.g., medical pouches, efficient protection towards electrostatic discharge in electronics packaging, and hydrogen storage).

We are at a very exciting stage, transitioning from a R&D startup to commercialization, scaling and profitability, with global commercial agreements and production capacity ramp-up from 5 to 200 tons per year in Q1 2026. 

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Representative to strengthen our commercial team and accelerate market adoption of our polymer-graphene materials.

This is a hands-on, front-line sales role, focused on direct customer engagement, technical sales discussions, and converting opportunities into long-term commercial business through supply and off-take agreements. The role involves close collaboration with application engineering, product development, and production teams to ensure successful customer trials, product optimization, and market introduction and adoption.

The position is based in Uppsala, Sweden, and includes regular travel to customer sites, international meetings, and relevant industry trade fairs. It is desired that the sales representative is located in Uppsala at least part time to ensure efficient communication with the Graphmatech team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of polymer-graphene pellets (masterbatches, and compounds)
  • Manage an assigned customer portfolio and active sales pipeline
  • Develop new business with OEMs and industrial customers
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical and sales presentations, and regular follow-ups.
  • Support customer material trials, sampling, and qualification processes (jointly with the product development team).
  • Translate technical performance into clear customer value propositions
  • Develop and keep up-to-date product data sheets and products presentations. 
  • Collect and bring customer insights, market perspectives, and feedback to the product development and production teams to support continuous optimization of materials and processes.
  • Maintain and manage CRM systems with structured opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Apply a structured and systematic working approach to account management, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Achieve defined sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Support product launches and market introduction activities
  • Represent Graphmatech at customer meetings, exhibitions, and trade fairs

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on B2B sales experience within polymer pellets (masterbatches, compounds, specialty polymer materials and additives)
  • Proven track record of direct sales to OEMs and tier-1 customers
  • Strong technical understanding of polymer materials and processing technologies
  • Ability to understand, discuss, and communicate technical matters with customer engineering and purchasing teams
  • Experience working with CRM systems and structured sales portfolios
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong network with the relevant stakeholders in the polymer materials value chain.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven, commercially focused, and results-oriented
  • Availability and Willingness to travel frequently within Sweden and internationally
  • Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong advantage)

Preferred Background

  • Experience within polymer or other functional materials
  • Knowledge of conductive, reinforced, or specialty compounds and masterbatches.
  • Established network within plastics moulding (e.g. extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding), automotive, electronics, or industrial OEM markets
  • Technical or engineering education, or equivalent industry experience
